I will like to launch a new campaign to show the non-golfers that golfers can run.

For those who had enlisted into the SCM 2011 run (full marathon), do list down your name:

1. Duval_s ( last year completed in a very embarassing time..but this year will be different)

From what i know during my time in Reservist in Clementi Camp, healthy lifestyle runs is now a minimum 5km on friendly days and could stretch up to 12km for the regs and NSFs!! Mind you, this is 2PDF!!!

i did 42 last year with a very bad timing also.. walked more then 15 km. Never train much.
This year change strategy, i going for the 10 km only. Aiming to break 60 min. (55 mins if i can stick to my training routine) easier to train and the health benefit are there too..

Full marathon needs proper training and conditioning, otherwise the damage done will be far greater than any benefit reap.

Those who are considering joining Duval in the Full marathon, i recommend you start training now if you haven't already done so..

My colleagues & I have signed up for half marathon at SCM, target to complete in 2.5hrs.
Planning to do full marathon next year.

From personal experience, long distance running (ie. prolong cardio exercise) is the best way to keep my horizontal growth in check.
