- You might want to try the Burner Superfast 2.0 which is also deep faced. It might not look so because the face is larger overall compared to that of the R11, but you can prove it to yourself by putting the R11 and Burner driver heads side by side for comparison. It is also a more forgiving driver, engineered to be so to accommodate its 46.5 inch shaft. It's also lighter than the R11 and the face is draw biased with a closed look at address, which may or may not be to everyone's liking.
When I took a look at the Burner 2.0 with Ozik shaft (US Spec), the head does not seem to be closed. It seems to be more square. Perhaps the Asian spec model is more draw bias, huh? I personally would prefer the clubhead face to be squared.

The face angle is supposedly square (could not verify the specs) which does make sense since TM makes a big deal about the white on black contrast aiding alignment. Closing the face would then be counter-productive. The draw bias is built into the club with weights ports, so the face can still be square and yet produce a draw shot via weighting. Sorry if I misled you to think that the face angle is closed, I should have been clearer to mention that it had a closed look to me. I'm used to the more traditional rounded rear ends of a classic driver shape, and the triangular shape of the Burner 2.0 driver somehow gives me the illusion of a closed look at first, it takes some getting used to, especially in setting it down square. Something that square drivers might automatically take care of, but I wouldn't touch a square shaped driver with a ten foot pole, let's not even talk about trapezoidal shaped drivers. No disrespect to anyone using these shapes, they're just not for me. Different strokes for different strokes.

| ah, today, i tried the D2 and if you are an average player, the D2 will be more forgiving and help you a great deal more than the R11, just my 2 cents | |

Agree with you on that one Sham. The D2 is higher launching, easy to use, and balanced nicely so can feel the dead during the swing. The R11 takes more work to use and definitely needs my best swing to put in play.

| Not a huge fan of teh R11, reckon the burner superfast in white is the better all round club... the guys on tour favour it as it has a couple more yards on the R11.
Try the Razr Hawk oso IMO.

- Hi Bros,
I have a tendency to miss-hit shots towards the upper face of the driver face, thus causing shots to balloon.
I noticed that the R11's face is significantly taller (more hitting area measuring from top to bottom of the driver face) than the 910 D2.
Darren In my opinion, both drivers which u have mentioned here are excellent! I believe it is a matter of how well one can handle the drivers. 95% of the time it is the golfer problem and not the driver itself. I would suggest you seek help from a reputable swing coach to look at your problem before investing too much in driver. No heart feeling, just my 2 cents' worth ...
