| Hi, need advised on the shaft which come with Titleist driver. Tried the Aldila Phenom on Titleist 913d3 8.5 and find tip very stiff and feeling very boardy for overall shaft performance but my ball was straight and low. Never had chance to try Diamana Blue S+ 60R shaft so seek Grians here to give some personal experience and suggestion. Is the shaft very whippy and how is the feeling compare to Aldila? Thanks in advance. | |

| I've had the Blue S+ 62S and Phenom 60s in both a 8.5 and 9.5 913D3. And tried a bucket load of shafts at Titleist Demo day.
The two shaft you mention feel and perform completely differently.
The Blue S+ is smooth and muted. It also spins a lot (hard to think of a shaft that spins more...) - I could not keep the ball down regardless of head setting. Don't know what your attack angle or SS is, but I think 62R is not going to work for you.
The Phenom is a bit hard feeling but gives a much, much lower lower ball flight and more control too.
If you want a low ball flight and a smoother feel, I suggest BB6S (mid-low flight, soft feel), Motore VC 6.2 (low and very solid) or Rombax Type X 65 (very low and a bit smoother than the Motore).

| Thanks for your reply, what about the Fujikura Motore F3? Do you think it will feel better and ball flight to be alright?
My SS is around 90+ | |

| I've only tried the F3 in a 3 wood. Yes, much less harsh than the Phenom. Can't comments about the flight, but I would say it is not low launch.
Might want to consider the F1 for your driver.

| Prefer to have a lower launch ball flight, my old TM R9 425 shaft launch too high for my liking. Actually the Phenom ball flight i like but the feel is very dead but straight, distance carry ok but the roll out is better. Don't think the shop have anymore F1 shaft? - tpcml wrote:

| I played a Motore F3 regular (44.75") plays to a SR on a 910D2 as well (fitted by Titleist). Not really a high ball flight in my opinion and am now playing a Fubuki (also fitted by Titleist).
The Motore F3 regular is lying around the house right now. Let me know if you're interested to buy/try.. though the adaptor has already been moved to my new shaft.
