| What a wonderful meal, wine and companionship! A truly great evening at Etoile with Eric coming through in all aspects. I thank you dearly and publicly from the bottom of my heart. The man has "style"!! Wonderful new little restaurant in the East of Singapore. Flawless Service! Spectacular food and an overall most enjoyable dining experience. I really enjoyed the company; made me feel at home; laughs and chit chat from start to finish. I'm not a food photographer so forgive the pic quality but I think you get the point that the dishes were outstanding in flavor, preparation and presentation. All the dishes were top notch and My favorite was the Gazpacho. What an unexpected presentation and taste! Bon Apetite. Well Done to Etoile and Many Many thanks to Eric! We began with a FANTASTIC Old World flavor from a New World Country. We then started the meal with a moving Bordeaux Cab continuing the Old World theme. We followed the apetizers with the Italian that was perfect from start to finish. Amuse Bouche; to die for. Never had anything like this; truly remarkable. Foie Gras Lollipop and homemade raisin Melba Toast. Indescribably Delicious! My Fav; Gazpacho of tomato with watermelon & perilla mojito; This bad boy took a lot of work and the presentation was one of a kind greatness. Seared Hamachi in trio wrap with soy jelly, wasabi caviar and mesclun. FRESH and FANTASTIC! Pear & Absolute Sorbet; GREAT combo and I really enjoyed the Absolute! Roasted prime Rib, roasted potato mashed and leek tempura and shallot jus; Cooked to perfection. I love beef like this. Aged then cut from the rib and roasted with just the right amount of seasoning. The Shallot jus was a real Bonus too. Loved it! Pumpkin & Mascarpone Cheesecake with forest berries and crumble. I really enjoy deserts like this! My Dinner mates and Great GR men and friends from BFG. And the Host with the MOST; Mr. Eric Ng.......Thanks to all!! | |
