A Special Indian Affair - prelude to another unique feast

Dear all,

had a long discussion with the Captain and Chef of Indian Curry House located at East Coast tonight.

The brief was very simple..i want a feast that's memorable for our taste buds and even for memorable in presentation. if possible i want a whole young lamb thats coated with a special spice mix roast over a BBQ fire and a special Hyderbadi Dum Biryani Chicken cooked slowly (5 hours) in giant claypot.

The answer is no problem but we need to find an open area and a good dining area that can accomodate 25 to 35 people. we need a good number so that we can finish the food and yet have the number to make this work.

so i need an estimate...price per person, difficult to tell but it should be around $30 to $45 per person, maybe cheaper but not more expensive.

The venue will be at The Hacienda (swimming pool) at Hacienda Grove which is a par three from the restaurant.

Most likely date is end of the month March. however i need to book the use of the pool. Parking is free at the condo that's next to Pasta Fresca, near Adder Ice Cream.

ai Kian......you think its ala carte ah...you want i order for you another day...its a very simple indian dish lah......

it is not your race course indian restaurant which is a second generation south indian restaurant. this one is very authentic and still retain the original Delhi flavour and definitely the same ones you will find in India today.

you see the giant pot and a whole lamb and you will know why we need a platoon to finish the food. this is peanuts compare to the $70 million wedding dinner....haha

there will be all kinds of vegetable dishes to complement the main dishes.
