Any advice for golfer heading to Uncle-hood soon?

sigh.....the mind is willing but the body is another thing altogether.

The spirit is still burning but the joints are cracking with pain

Any advice for a golfer about to head into Uncle-hood?


I am thinking of asking 5-5 fm the younger generation as a start.

Time to look for a good hair dye to hide the white. Or to grow a pony-tail in a vain attempt to remain cool and hip.

I still have a few more good years before uncle-hood...
But DS has good interesting points...can i ask 3-3 from you since you are younger???

play golf with younger XMM... backpain still can finish 18 hole walking course.

Go for A flex instead of R or ladies flex.

DS you really kns! I was not even thinking about it! And now ! Ha ha at the moment I feel I am still peaking in my game ... If you going think that way you are sure to go that way! That's down and defeated! I can safely say I am still within one club off from the average golfers here and maybe 2 from those big hitters. And I can still give them a difficult time ... Until they call me uncle for my game and not for my age !

PS thanks for naming me uncle captain! Like some uncle will say "I will remember You!"

DS, my advice to you is keep buying equipment... new technology will help you in your "golden years"

Aches and pain come with it mentally and physically. I have played 35 years till date and hope many more to come, so DS just play till your heart content and we can only improve!
