Ping K15 - Game improvement or not!? Empty

I've been fighting a slice (over the top swing) all my golf life, and have only recently made some steady progress ...

I hit the K15 the other day for over an hour ... extremely long and straight ... the technology enables the toe to square up and allowed me to hit the ball without any swing thoughts ... my slight swing errors (although still there) were totally taken out of the equation ... I'm confident if I take this driver to the course, I'll hit more fairways, and hit them hard! The same day, the Titleist 910 D2 was pretty good too (almost the same carry, and more penetrating ball flight), though I lost a few to the right ...

Dilemma: A few days back, I was at the MBGC range hitting some balls with my irons, and not hitting all that well (wayward). When I went to get my second bucket, I noticed it was a Titleist demo day ... and so I jumped at the opportunity to hit the 910 D2 again. Lost my first one to a slice ... and then conscious of everyone watching, slowed down my swing a tad bit, and concentrated on attacking the ball from the inside ... low and behold I was hitting nice draws (with the standard driver loft lie configuration) ... Satisfied, I returned to my practice mat with my bucket, and the rest of my practice session went really well (far better than the earlier half) ...

So i'm thinking to myself, had I been hitting a K15 (or any other game improvement club) ... I'd hardly ever need to correct my swing ... and hence would my "all round" game actually improve Question

Bro
The K15 is a draw-biased club, hence it "cures" slices. I found this out whilst trying out both the K15 and G15 at Bishan. In the end, I settled for the G15 as my shots are already drawn most of the time. Using K15 will overdo it into a pull.

So once i marginalize my slice (and im making progress , and wont rest till i do so successfully) the k15s draw bias will see my good shots pull left ... In fact the k15 would probably hinder improvements to my swing inthe first place ...

In that case will tough it out ...

True to a certain extent.

Think you should have a chat with your coach or the club fitter. I find that Ben at Ping Bishan is honest with his assessment and recommendations.
