| As many would know that the TM r7 TP titianium 5 wood (17.5 degree) has been the club that have stayed in my bag for the longest of time.
Have tried the r9, diablo edge, i15 and have sold them in record time after it failed to give me the confidence to pull it out in play.
Last week while i was at BFG@Keppel for a store check, i took one out and set it down to see how it feels. Mmmhhh it is very square and the marking works for me in terms of aiming.
So i ordered one through golfamigo...the new 910 F 4 wood which is a 17 degree at 42.5 inch. i opted for a 70g motore in R flex which measure a tad lower than stiff. At 262 cpm, its the sort of flex that i am used to. i did not make any face adjustments and its set on A1.
anyway brought it out of the bag on 2 occasion today.
1. Facing a 210m par 5 hole. pretty nice lie and took a swing at the hole. the ball flight was perfect and it was hot. the ball landed a little right and was nearly pin high.
2. Decided to give it another go on hole 18 Master so use a 5 iron to tie off. Left with 200m to the pin. Water left and right but gave it a good swing and it went all the way to the pin. just a tad right but i am sure if i get a few strong man to run in the shaft, it will be perfect by next weekend.
Overall the feel of the shaft is very stable and the sound on impact is everything as sweet as the R7 TP which is widely acknowledge as the "dupont" of fairway wood.
Strongly recommended for those who wants to pack just one fairway wood, the 17 degree 4 wood is an excellent choice for tee off on tight fairways and gives better launch than a 3 wood and better distance than a 5 wood off the deck. of course they have different woods - 13.5, 15, 17 and 19 degree.
if previous model of the Titleist FW is too tough for most to use, this one is not. i think Titlieist has gotten it right this time with this friendly yet macho looking piece of golf equipment.
If there are any interest, you can contact Ivan (golfamigo) for a price quote based on bulk purchase or visit other Titleist reseller in Singapore.
Tour issue R7 TP 17.5 degree with T serial no for sale...visit the Den to make offer. Head only as the shaft is going to go into an adaptor to be paired with my new 910 F as an alternate shaft.

after run in, i change shaft to my gamer M70 at B2 setting, even better but all the run in went to waste.
