I got no 51 leh....only got a 59 which I only used in bunker......it's only when I got no other clubs to use

yes everything is in...the heads going to Indonesia and Malaysis means we have very little left....and all lite are in too.

if you come in today, you may get to see some heads that are only on internet but we will make sure you get to touch them (gloves provided)

Boss, thanks for accommodating Bloom's late pop-in to do the VX1 last evening... She has bought 6 colours for me to "experiment" and make it a "Papa" wedge to complement the "Mama" VX5. And while I was hard at work with the colours, she was thinking of VX9 as "Baby" wedge...

now i can ask our ladies customers to contact you to help with pimping.......

the wedges i mean....great idea and once you feel baby is on the way, we will build it for you know who. the grip is in a safe place.

Wanted to file a complaint personally at BFG but due to work commitments, have not been able to find the time to do so.

Anyway, here is my 'complaint'. Hope DGman sees this and maybe redeem himself by offering me a 51 degree to ease my heart ache.


Finally had a chance to take out the fishy wedges for on-course testing.
Pic below shows the contact spot after a day of golfing at Horizon Hills earlier on Thursday.
Contact not as sweet as previous ones at range but nonetheless, mighty close to sweet spot and very very soft forging feel.






Now, this pic is self-explanatory.

This is the short par 3 on the back nine (the one across water).
Blue pin tucked at the end of the green.
Took out the 55 fishy wedge, gave it a good swing, landed on green bout 9-10 feet away from pin. Seems to check nicely.....but.......

.......horror of horrors, blardy ball back spin some more away from the hole.

Took picture of this shot as it was the one that back spin the most.
For some other approaches, there were noticeably back spin and nice checks using the fishy wedges; be it 55 or 59 degrees.

So ladies and gentlemen, this is the brief on-course review of the fishy wedges.
Very easy to align, good looks at address, fantastic soft upon impact feel and the most important.......high spinning!!!!!



p.s DGman, what are the bounces on the 55 and 59? 10 to 11? Why I say so....coz easier to clip the ball off tight lies compared to my previous mizzy wedges.

unfortunately its spinning backwards away from the hole!!!

he now needs to extend 1in on his wedge shaft....

spin ball backwards...... not everyone can do so ..

we use a different grind so even with the same bounce, it will react differently....

the back spin gives most a high more than the birdie itself. next time wedge up.....and it will be next to the pin.

your complaint has been squashed and thrown into the bo liao bin.

i was told Jason have a pleasant day out with his wedges as well.

I took my 51 and 55 out for their virgin spin yesterday and boy, was I pleased. They work very nicely. Buttery soft feeling and they check quite well too. I'm your worse-than-average golfer but I found that the wedges were quite easy to set-up and use.

I'd dare say that they rival (if not outperform) the bigger names out there. It goes to show that sometimes, lesser known names doesn't mean lesser quality or performance - quite the opposite in fact.

My only 'grouse' with the 55 is that it cost me a plate of chicken wings... but it was well worth it
