| Folks, any recommendations for a 3W? I'm currently using the TM Burner 3W. Considering options and "lo and behold," was thinking of the Cleveland Launcher. | |

Good suggestion. I've tried them before and found them to be quite forgiving.

| i recently tried my frens TM R5XL 3W and found it pretty good to hit, looks nice and and somehow the headshape gives me confidence on striking the ball. My turtle swing also can get a low penetrating shot and sound is nice when you hit the sweet spot.
problem is they are not available at most places anymore...

| Bro Tech....I am presently using a re-furbished Cannaway Steelhead 4+ wood...pretty solid feel...but the head is a bit small. But if I may suggest, you can consider Clevage HiBore FW.....head is slightly bigger and more importantly, I feel that the weight of the head is align such that it is easier for the ball to take off.....So...How I know...tried that out sometime back...but price abit too steep then...so ended with 2nd hand cannaway frm Joe. | |

| Thanks folks. I'm still undecided. Will need to go sample a few. My TM Burner feels a little small. | |

| If you want big head then go for 13 deg Callaway Drivers or 15 deg Nicklaus Drivers. I heard some other brands also offering 15 deg drivers. | |

| LOL! No... just wanted to sample. Keen to explore 2nd hand gear, more than 1st hand. Overhaul? Hardly. CFO doesn't mind... provided I don't scrutinize her shoes/handbags. | |

http://www.maruman.co.jp/english/golf/shuttle/shuttle_i4000x/index.html How about trying the Shuttle M-sole? the model is a bit older than i4000x but it's still a good FW. I have a 3FW and a 5FW, can come to try if you are keen.

| Bro Techno, I've tried many, many 3 FWs, & i personally feel that TM Burner (07 model) is still the best. That's why over the last 2 yrs, i've change drivers, irons, wedges, putters, but have not changed the FW. If you simply itchy-backside, go ahead & buy other brands, but must keep the Burner (if yours is the same one i am talking about). However, if you want to sell the FW after you've found new love, I'll take it off you if the condition is still good. Don't mind keeping a backup, so i can experiment with different shafts (so i guess i itchy-backside too ) That said, besides the Burner, G10 will be my next choice. | |
