Something I lean about club fitting today...

1. Cutting the shaft:
- The cut should be crooked/ slanted, then it is call handy craft... else too neat cut = machine job = no good

2. Cutting your own shaft:
- Too busy so ask customer to cut their own shaft
- Allow customer to feel acquainted with his own clubs (at the expense of damage your own clubs, at your own risk)

3. No of wraps for your Grips:
- Distracted while talking to customer... "Ermm... how many wraps did I put already?"

4. Chemical solution for slipping in the grip:
- "Dun need put too much"... and he put only one drop at each end of the shaft
- I stared at him for a while... "ok lah ok lah!" ... then he pours so much that it soaked the whole shaft
- then he tells me... "this one need to wait till next Wednesday to dry"

5. Make use of customer:
- "Help me hold tight on this grip while I turn out the club head"... then he turns so hard my skin almost came off

6. Payment:
- "I think I need to charge you for drinking my green tea"

Off topic?..... not really... this I heard is how they resort to treating their opponents...
