All High Handicappers (20-24), PC & Newbies report here !!!

Hi,

Starting this thread for all who just started the amazing game of golf... share your learning journey and misery you've face since hitting the greens.

Just started playing since April and started through group lessons from SAFRA Golf.
Never made any progress until I was introduce to this Pro @ Warren Country Club...

The Pro that retain my golfing interests is none other than Sam, the malay Pro @ WGCC.
Skeptical initially but his coaching has worked wonders for me, with simple yet interesting instructions he truly made me enjoy the game of GOLF.

I feel he is truly under-rated by his employers.

PM me if anyone wants help with their game, I'm sure you'll be amaze by the results.

Actually, I got no handicap as of now. keke

Playing off a PC myself as well. But i think my PC expire already.

I dun think uncle Sam was ever underrated by his employer, that's why till today, he is still a resident pro in Warren. He started teaching in Warren even before Warren has a golf course. You should be proud that most of the good players in warren have gone under his wing when they are young kids and that's one reason why they have good fundamentals. Your game will definitely improve over time with his coaching. He still give me pointers every now and then.

Once only, before we started the lessons. He assesed my game. Fixed me and I broke 90 after that. That was 6 months ago.

But now I kinda lost it. My putting is getting better, getting back my form on chipping, but ball striking is very poor. Mainly fat shots. Had worst driving day last week at OCC.

Thank you bro..appreciate it! Mondays are great coz my bosses on the other side of Pacific are still enjoying their weekends. Fridays are good except for the the 3rd Friday.

Slice I can handle, but fat shots are frustrating coz the ball go nowhere..

Hi there! I am on still on PC but finally will go for my courtesy round next week. I normally play every other Monday in OCC or MBGC. I have MyGolf Kaki membership so we could avail of discount if two of us book. Let me know if anybody wants to share a flight

Wah bro.. for a person on a PC, your gear is quite nice

24 handicapper here.. just started learning golf 2 years back while in NUS... heard that most golfers reach their potential after 3 years.. hope the last year for me will do wonders.. Played at RCC,JCC and MBGC. But usually play in palm resort now..

Average score is high 90s. low 100s.. but sometimes can go up till 110, 120+...
