Anyone knows if there are any good golf shops in London??

Im heading to London this december.
I am wondering if anyone knows of any place that sells good golf stuff... ie golf bags, head cover etc..

Hi vyvy. Check out lilywhites@picadilly circus. Prices cheapest I've come across in London, if they have what ur looking for. Alternatively check out capital golf on Maddox st, off regent st. Looks like a shitty lelong place from outside but they have good stuff at reasonable prices. Nevada bob near Liverpool st stTion has everything but not much cheaper than Singapore. Happy shopping!

do u think they have sales on boxing day???

These days in the recession, sales begin pre Xmas. Extra discount on boxing day onwards but usually got leftovers only. I bought my wife's diablo irons at 30% cheaper than the lowest I could find in Sg from lilywhites last month.

cool! DIABLO!! interesting! but i will only arrive in london on the 26th Dec. hoping to get a golf bag and irons or sth.. =D

Where will you be staying?? There aren't many stores here in central london itself.
Nevada Bobs at broadgate circle as suggested above is one, there is one golf store along regents street just off oxford circus. Probably should check out the sale there, the closing down sale sign has been up since i got back in sept

If you have the time, i recommend you going to world of golf at new maiden, its about 45 minutes from london waterloo, it is one of the biggest stores in london with a huge driving range to test the clubs before you buy them. It is also a 5 min walk from the Golfbidder showroom where they sell alot of 2nd hand clubs.

i feel the range at lillywhites range is rather limited. nothing spectacular there but it is cheap i guess
