| Think this is the 1st time he lost a championship after leading by more than 3 shots. | |

| Tiger did not lose it...
McDowell won it.
if anyone plays like McDowell did on Sunday, he deserve to win because of his resolution and his belief in himself.

| Yeap, if u seen how McDowell hole those 2 birdies, then u will understand why Monty field him as the last player during the ryders. | |

| you know what's more amazing.
he started in shanghai, then singapore, then hongkong, then dubai and finally california. he could have told himself that its ok to finish second since he has been on the road for so many weeks but he did not..
he deserve to win because of his resolution.

on a side note, it will be interesting to know if he is still using the PW that i reshafted for him. will check with the Callaway folks.

| had just watched the reply last night and i must say his (McDowell) putting is ke-siao! 3 consecutive birdies on the 18th from difficult clutch putts!
Woods played quite well but guess his putting not as sharp - but pretty good game nonetheless.
p.s. What putter was McDowell using? Looks a bit like the brand new Odyssey that i'm trying to get rid off... hmmm, perhaps i should reconsider this sale... heh

| Gmac was not sharp at all in Dubai but his putting at last 2 rounds at Sherwood was outstanding. | |

| haha Bob, we can't afford to let him "try". at his level, i am sure everything goes through his agent first.
but he has changed his putting stroke slightly and i think in time, he may putt even better. i can see that he was getting a bit uncomfortable in the final round but its a visual thing and the more he trains with his new putter, the better he will get.
so its 2 intermediate-mallets that finished 1 and 2.

| Hopefully, TW pick this up :
Hi Tiger, it is not about money and endorsement for you at this level of Golf. It is about Honour and reputation. So drop the crab about money. Get a ZEN putter and you will win more then just money by sinking those crucial putts and winning tournaments.

| I think overall, it jsut proves that Mcdowell, over the number of touranments before this one have kept his mental on a very competitive and strong side while tiger, due to the lack of competition mental has actually lost out. Comparing the last day with the first 3 days, it was quite a big difference, especially that hole he double bogey.
And with Mcdowell, pulling his tee shot left and taking drop and still making bogey still show how confident he is. Like wat DGman say, tiger did not lose it, but mcdowell won it. But i have to say, 2011 will be an exciting year in the PGA tour.

| If Tiger ever picks up the ZEN putter and revitalizes his career with it, I’d like to see DGman’s reaction on his statement that price of ZEN will not go up… heh. My black ZAP may have to be framed to preserve value then… hoho | |
