Trigger Finger Activated through Play

Hi all

I've a few fingers that are usually "lock" or jam in a curl up position when I wake up in the morning.

Any kind souls can give some practical advice on how to alleviate the discomfort and to prevent such a condition?

it's most likely caused by incorrect grip or gripping too hard

get your pro to correct your grip and it will ease the strain on your fingers

EH... golf related meh???? I think its sleeping posture that is causing it.

Cramp? The last time this happen to me was many years back when I was in army, doing survival training in Brunei... no food so not enough salt in my body... cramps just about anywhere during the night!

could be due to blood circulation......try massaging your palms and finger...between the thumb and your 'pointer' finger, there is one 'fatty' meat area......massage that spot by pressing on them macam tui-na.

I used to get it on my pinky finger on my left hand. I was advised that it was because of my grip and my excessive range sessions. Once I slowed my golfing down, the trigger finger feeling went (but so did my game).

Titanium tape? Does it work?

I have been using the relax gel and tape for my shoulder aches and stiff neck.

It works really well for me.
Applying before bedtime on affected areas do ensure me of a good night sleep.

u tape your shoulders and neck before you sleep??

nope..only apply the relax gel before i sleep and wear the phiten necklace.

tapes only apply during the day or during golf.

I used to have trigger fingers... mine was related to golfing. If I am not wrong, it was my left ring finger...

To alleviate the pain, I hold to circular object like steering wheel, umbrella or golf club tightly for >20 seconds... It will be painful, then pain gradually disappears then it will not lock anymore for a while...

It will come back after being inactive for a while then you have to find circular object again.
