Sorry to bring up this old thread, I'm interested in getting a similar training aid to this, e.g. the golf swing power trainer.

Anyone used these training aids before? Are they useful. My main problem is that I'm too "handsy" and tend to start my down swing from the top. Otherwise I tend to not rotate back enough.

I'm hoping that this training aid can help alleviate my problems and at the same time help groove my swing in the confined environments of my room.

maybe u can try the impact stick?

helps to train your release and ensure u release at correct point
at the same time the weight of the stick helps to condition your muscles ie "groove" your swing

@Master: Thanks, did consider the impact stik, but its more expensive and less convenient to use at home since its length is almost the same as a golf club. As I also have an old back injury which flares up from time to time, I'm abit worried that I might hurt my back swinging the heavier weight (correct me if i'm wrong).

@Exigence78: Thanks, the price looks good, but I'm still trying to find out if it would be useful. Must plan best use of my limited $$ Smile
