Ladies, Gentlemen,

I say this not to be a wet blanket. But with the recent events that have happened to Toonshouse forum, I think it is more important to protect this forum from intrusions rather than thinking of a name.

From my perspective, these acts of intrusions or hacking could be likely linked to animosity or even enmity. These negative feelings could have been the result of built up anger or frustration stemming from disputes that have occurred in the past. We may not be able to find the culprit. We may never will. But prevention is better than cure.

Having said everything, I would like to urge everyone here to exercise a little more discretion when we speak. If this is a community that we hold dear, makes us feel comfortable and relaxed, then let's do things to stay that way. Openly policing others' threads, sometimes to the point of nitpicking, does not go well for many people. Polite Personal Messages, emails, SMS and gentle reminders serve the same purposes too.

Finally I applaud the efforts of the surviving members from Toonshouse to resurrect the community. The people that started this singaporegolfers forum have worked very hard and deserve a round of applause.

Let us learn from this episode and move on. We can preserve this.....
