Change putter grip and steal iPod

well we finally experienced our first real theft.

some one came in early to change putter grip and conveniently took the BFG iPod and slip into his pocket. the iPod has BFG inscribed on the back too.

thank goodness we have several CCTV around recording everything.

Inspector Aw...should we hand the recording over to the police to report the theft or should we pose the pix here to shame the culprit.

Shamusan, get ready to kick ass.

I am in Japan right now, back on tuesday so let reorg and discuss this shameful individual.

I think best way.. show his picture on forum and at the same time report police. Just in case he decides to pull his moves on the members or other golfers.

we have him on CCTV..face big big, all dressed up and ready to play golf with iPod in pocket.

looks pretty pro accordingly to Frostee so i think we should have no problems finding him soon.

So how..

police or private settlement?

i have the following in mind...

1. return iPod and pay compensation to 2-Pack KT preferred charity (Autism Association), sum of an iPod.
2. half an hour session with Shamusan
3. report to police and let the authorities take care of it

any other suggestion?

I agreed. If he is still a kid do give him a chance without getting black report in the police file. Have him return the stuff and post his picture in this forum for warning to other.

If he is a well grown up man. I would suggest to report him to the police and post his picture here too.

This guy is really cheap to steal .. Can you imagine playing golf with him .. He will definitely cheap and might steal all your clubs by end of 18 holes ...

He is luck to be in Singapore. Ask all the Indonesia bro here. What happened to thief (ves) when it is caught in Indonesia .. After everybody gone through with him... Even the police do not want to take him in ....

DGman - IIRC, below a certain age, they don't get a permanent record anyway, just a juvenile one. Report him to the authorities, or just go for all of the above

I suggest hand over to police lar.. cos if you did not pte settlement properly, he might turn against you and create some story to bite you back..

If a person can steal and iPod, what else he cant do? Better lock up all your display cabinet with all the Krank Heads and iKasu Heads
