| Among all the holes, par 3 is the one which I have most fear (relative). Many times, the concern about being short comes into play and resulting in uncalled nervousness.
For the longest time, I had tried various approaches to par 3, eg. aim for the middle of green, take one club more, swing easy etc etc.
The problem is none of them really help.
Only past 12 months or so, I seem to get better results (percentage wise) if I play the knock down...ie 1 over club, abit open stance, ball behind....and half swing...all in all, low trajectory shot.
so here is where I am abit confuse....is this the safe way or right way...coz watching others and of coz the pros, not many play in this manner?

| My approach to Par 3s is simple.
"Get the ball on the green". Whatever happens from there can't be all that bad.

| If the distance marker is correct then not so bad... sometimes the markers can be out by 10m | |

It always happens to me too.... Sometimes when I just setup and swing without thinking I get a sweet impact... Go figure... | |
