| Every week, on every shot, in every corner of the globe, more players trust the consistent performance of Titleist. This week followed a familiar script as Bernhard Langer trusted Pro V1 in claiming his first senior major title, as he edged fellow Pro V1 loyalist Corey Pavin at famed Carnoustie to capture the Senior Open Championship. At the Evian Masters, Jiyai Shin relied on Pro V1 to become the first South Korean winner of that tournament and, in the process, reclaimed the number one spot in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings. On the European PGA Tour, Richard S. Johnson enjoyed an “epic” win with Pro V1x at the Nordea Scandinavian Masters, becoming just the second Swede in twelve years to win his native country’s marquee event. And Pro V1x loyalist D.J. Brigman fired a 7-under 64 in the final round of the Children’s Hospital Invitational to capture his second career victory on the Nationwide Tour. Further proof that superior tee-to-green performance is what makes Titleist the most trusted ball around the world.
Worldwide Ball Count: Titleist: 10,960 Nearest Competitor: 1,851

CHAMPIONS TOUR: Bernhard Langer (Pro V1, Vokey Design sand and lob wedges) closed with a 1-over 72 at Carnoustie, holding off a final round charge by runner-up Corey Pavin (Pro V1, Titleist Bullseye putter), who shot a 1-under 70. Langer finished at 5-under 279, capturing his 11th win in three years on the Champions Tour. The win marks the third career major victory for Langer, who also won the Masters Tournament in both 1985 and 1993. Pavin finished three strokes clear of four players who tied for third place, including Jay Don Blake (Pro V1x, 909D2 driver, 906F4 fairway metal, 909H hybrid, AP2 irons, Vokey Design wedges, Scotty Cameron Newport 2 Studio Select putter), Russ Cochran (Pro V1, AP2 and CB irons, Vokey Design wedges) and Australia’s Peter Senior (Pro V1, 909D2 driver, AP2 irons, Vokey Design wedges).

LPGA TOUR: With a dramatic birdie putt on the 72nd hole of the Evian Masters, Jiyai Shin (Pro V1) won her seventh career LPGA Tournament. Her 5- under round of 67 on Sunday capped a 14-under par effort for the week.
Three players tied for second, including Na Yeon Choi (Pro V1x), who continues her impressive season, finishing second for the second straight week, following a win at the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic. This was Choi's seventh top 10 of the season.

EUROPEAN TOUR: Sweden's Richard S. Johnson (Pro V1x, Scotty Cameron T10 Select Newport 2 putter) sank a 30-foot birdie putt on the final green to win the Nordea Scandinavian Masters by one shot. Johnson closed with a 1-under 71 that gave him an 11-under par total of 277. Three players tied for fourth place at 8-under 280, including Titleist Brand Ambassador Brett Rumford (Pro V1x, prototype 910D3 driver, 909F3 fairway metal, 909H hybrid, CB irons, Vokey Design wedges) and last week's Open Championship winner Louis Oosthuizen (Pro V1x), who made a strong bid in his effort to become the only player to win a Tour event the week after winning the Open Championship. The win was the second on the European Tour for Johnson, his first having come at the 2002 ANZ Championship.
#1 BALL: According to Sports Marketing Surveys, Titleist was the GOLF BALL of choice at the Nordea Scandinavian Masters with 96 players, three times the nearest competitor with 32.
NATIONWIDE TOUR: D.J. Brigman (Pro V1x) closed with a 7-under 64 to come from behind and win the Children's Hospital Invitational at The Ohio State University Scarlet Course. Titleist Brand Ambassador Won Joon Lee (Pro V1x, prototype 910D3 driver, AP2 2-iron, MB irons, Vokey Design wedges, Scotty Cameron Newport Studio Select putter) shot a 2-under 69 for a share of third place at 8-under 276 with three players, including Pro V1x loyalists David Mathis and Daniel Summerhays.
