Poresia Golf

Anyone here played there recently??
Just wondering how's the condition there?

Fairways condition okay. Greens is good. Prefer the greens at Sakura and orchid courses over the other two.

I love Poresia.. very well maintained, esp the greens. Rough is pretty evil though..

Thanks for the heads-up, will be playing this Sat morning 8:18, they allocate us at Bougainvillea course.
not bad, only RM216.30, slightly cheaper than Horizon Hills

asahi, poresia is bermuda grass? One of these days will try and have a game there with you all since I have not played there for donkey years.

Quite a good deal if you golf pretty often and just looking for regular golfing weekends.

@mloy, not sure what grass but it is good condition, like RJCC. But greens better than RJCC.

Usually it is. But past 2 Sats not so coz the Japs did not come by.
Think they worried bout weather.

syard-txv, pray hard that this sat don't rain, else I don't think you will enjoy it - the fairway is quite soft. If this is your first time there, bring more balls. The rough is famous for swallowing balls....

i normally play at NSRCC, only once a month, we go up to Horizon Hill, but this Sat morning , they are having some competition there, so change route...
last time i played at Poresia was years back,only twice i think

Rain-God? in hokkian is "Ho Sin", there is a lot at the makan place outside. Hope you can catch one.

i welcome u, GR 2010 Women Champion to play with us in poresia.

i play there every saturday morning. usually 3-4 flights from 7am onwards.

suggest that asahi, jimmy choo n me in 1 flight. let me know early so i will do the booking. maybe i can partner mloy to play against asahi n jimmy.

if other GRs wanna play, i can also arrange a mini tournament or golf outing. The only constraint is each flight must hv a poresia member which i think i can get 6-8 poresia members to play with each flight. teh other constraint is all guests need to produce valid handicaps or else pay RM50 for Pc Test.

WAH!!!! OCBC Champion.......I might just take the offer. I reckon , that to really prove myself that I can golf, I need to prove myself at Poresia.................

Should be no issue with planting 1 member in each flight.

Yup. Just joined last year only.

I can attest to jimmychoo's advice......the rough there is punishing in all aspects.

bro jimmy, I will be booking two flights tmr morning....maybe can golf together next Sat?

talking about makan...anything to eat around there for breadfast?? especially around 6+ in the morning?? kam sia

i hv 14 golfers for next saturday n will be booking 4 flights so i hv 2x 4 balls + 2x 3 balls flights so can accomodate 2 more balls by reshuffling the flights. (7am onwards)

believe me, I m struggling to break 90 although i play in poresia (sakura/orchid) almost every saturday.

i will be happy to walk off with an 88 from weekend blue tees!

yes, plenty of things to eat. goto those coffee shops on the left after exit gelang patah from 2nd Link.

my breakfast starts from 5.45am -6.20am.
