| ZOMG..how am i asociated with PRCs walking ard at the range huh?? Geezzz...that should be alvin leh..he's the chairman.
Anyways on a serious note, your coach should have given you some drills to practice and it's a good time to do so at the range.
Build a solid foundation on your address, swing plane, ball compression and follow through etc. Blindly ranging without a drill will instead enforce your bad habits and it'll be difficult to correct in time to come.
Also it's good to question your coach on why you making such mistakes etc..cos it'll help better your understanding on the fundamentals of a golf swing.

For such occasions, i do go to range (cough cough!!)
I will pay for 100 ....balls. And try many positions ..sorry I meant trajectory with my one single iron which I will bring to the range....eg. low trajectory, high trajectory, punch etc etc
I do find pleasure in exploring the many shots one can do with one single iron.
wah bro, u power. many shots, one single iron, single session.

| I believe u range at bishan. I went there last week to take a look. One look I gave up on that place. Too many stuff ard and I feel very clustered. Mbgc much nicer in terms of feel. Among bishan, Tpy and mbgc, with Tpy being the nearest and bishan 2nd nearest, I rather drive to mbgc so that I can swing with a better mood. Just my preference and humble opinion. | |

| Actually, if you feel very distracted at Bishan, more so you should range there. It helps in strengthening your mental game.
Going to the range in Vietnam is very very distracting. People treat it like a market place, FT-5 drivers, nike sumo dirvers, girls treating it like a catwalk / girls in shorts.....
IT takes alot to concentrate on what you are doing.

WAHAHAHHAA Same here... get bored after 30 balls. Very simple, just don't hit anymore after that.... I realize the more balls I hit after 30, the worse it will get.. cos I will be tempted to try new swing, etc... very damaging.

I am the same too, normally our focus tend to shift at the same time to the same point with the same thoughts

| Range.....that is one place where many will like to go but at the same time, laziness creeps in.
Seriously, if one really wants to improve, the fun element is usually not there. ask the folks who run maratons if the training is fun.........most likely they will say its SHIT...but the satisfaction of completing withing expectation is immeasurable.
My view and view only.....go to range to train very specific areas.....and be pragmatic, its not going to be fun doing that. The fun will only come in, when you are able to repeat that on the course / game.....and that will be real FUN.
Thanks...Just me 'D' (seasoned beginner)

| Is it?
I find it fun to go to the range too.
Then again, anything related to golf is fun to me. Even better than a great day at the office anytime.
