| To Eden and others interested in trying out PLSC:
if you attend their monthly seminar, the eye exam is free. Its always published on strait times. if not just mention that a former patient introduced you for the eye exam to get the eye exam fees waived. If you need can mention Nicholas Chung as your referee to see if they waive your exam fee(i get no commision or any benefits for referring)

did a few tests in his clinic as well as one located in the dental clinic a few floors down.

| how did your eye test end up in the dental clinic?
also, if you made the decision on that day, how soon could you have gone for the surgery? same day? next day?

| apparently the LASIK and dental clinic are of the same group. A few of the eye testing machines located in a room within the dental clinic. The fastest that you can schedule would be same day just go early cos the test is about 3 hours. When I complete my test it was already closing time. | |

| test is around 3 hours, and the op is around 2 hours (including rest time), right? Should be 'do-able' in a day? | |

- FYI from Premium Lasik Surgery Centre:
The pre-LASIK evaluation will take at least 3 hours and cost $180. However, $100 will be waived if you choose to proceed with LASIK surgery. If you wear soft contact lens, you will have to stop wearing them for at least 3 days before your evaluation date. Hard lens at least 2 weeks.
The soonest you can go for your surgery after your evaluation can be on the same day or the very next day. The recovery time for LASIK surgery is fast. Patients can resume back to work or normal activities by the 2nd day after surgery.
Our price for LASIK Surgery is $1,649 per eye for Custom Intralase bladeless treatment and $2,149 per eye for Wavefront Intralase (iLASIK). Please call to check on our current promotion for LASIK Surgery. All prices are quoted before 7% GST. See quoted in bold -- guess not entirely true, is it?

| most of the time for the test is to wait for your eyes to dilate. 3 hours is about there, maybe less.
actual op only like 10 minutes. one morning all done. but rest is important as eyes need to recover. so you will use the bladeless method. the recovery should be faster and less risk.

| Recovery is pretty fast from my colleague experience but full recovery take longer. She managed to get behind the wheel on the night of her op. But one thing was her eyes kept getting eye wax for the whole week. | |

Yea no issue for you to go to for golf the following day.. just try to keep out of dusty areas and keep your shades on.. also, u gotta keep dripping your antibiotic drops.. personally, i went to the range the following day after my followup at the clinic. Drove on my own too.. just be careful.. and watch the speed.

| Thanks for the offer, Eden, but I only touch down on Friday morning, and already have an 8.40 am appointment at SNEC. If the eye exam takes around 3 hours, I won't be done till noon, earliest, which means that I probably won't have enough time to do the surgery the same day unless I get it done at SNEC.
Would prefer to get it done at PLSC tho...

| just had my lasik op yesterday at 2pm at PLSC the wait was really long but the actual op was fast (15mins). i could see immediately after the op but felt irritation in the eye. was given sleeping pill and slept for 12 hours before waking up for the eye drops. first thing that i did this morning was to turn on the golf channel WOW!! first time that i could watch TV without my glasses 1st review is today and i still feel slight irritation in the eye which i guess is normal. cant wait for my game tomorrow. | |
