Hi all,

Is Tanglin GC still open? Can any bro/sis share on the green rates? I have been playing at EGC and Green Fairways, hope to try other public course.

Thanks cheers

Yes it is still open but never play there even though i passed it everyday. Weekdays only $16 and weekends $20. Just drop in and play. But very short course. All par 3s. Good practice for par 3s.

Have not played there but heard that its a tough course. Tough as in you get very tired walking up and down slopes pulling your trolley. But if you are fit should not be a problem.

I won't play if I have to lug my own trolley. By the 3rd hole have to call ambulance. Stretcher

not a regular, but been there once recently.
$23 for weekend 9 hole, went there on Sunday afternoon (ard 2pm), not crowded at all when I was there.. we are at like hole 5 or 6 before we see people behind. (but thats probably due to the bad weather or time of the day)..

Very short course, first few holes are scary (at least for me) as the roads are just beside.
=)

TGC is a good short game course. It is home to My First Tee, a charity foundation. I have good memories for it as it was the first grass course I played. It is very short but tricky and the cow grass all means you have to be careful. There is ample free parking too. You can probably play all 9 holes with a six iron (and putt with!). Give it a try. One thing though, you may lose or find alot of balls depending. The last time I played there, my walking mate found 7 lost balls.

Use insect repellent. Lots of mosquitoes especially if you go there early in the morning. (I am a mosquitoe magnet.)
