these prophet tour got a pocket cavity (something like the MP52s). looks like the iron heads are going to be in the USD16-17 price range each.

Should be cast i think; looks too difficult to forge out that cavity pocket.

Ah.. cast and forged.. the long debate.. some can "feel" the forged difference, other's more spastic like me, can't.

My personal view is that it depends more on the grade of steel used for the "soft" feel. A good cast design with "soft steel" (303 stainless/8620 carbon) can feel just as or even softer as forged. Shaft material and club head shape also contribute to the "soft" feel. Cleveland and Vokeys are cast (think the ones the pros use too; except hand finished) and they feel soft too?

For drivers, cast adn forged is a different story lah.. hahhaa
