Chipper wedge

Hi,

I like to know if there are golfer that still use chipper now ?

What is the adv and differences to PW,AW and SW ?

I am looking for one but not sure if there is a need for me; maybe spend the money for a pro to improve is the best option.

I am having a hard time with less than 10 m shot in term of direction and distance (Some time can, some time cannot type).

I am looking at a 2 way chipper , Cleveland Niblick and Adam A70S chipper for options.

So far I have played with two players using chipper...

If I am not wrong, it has a loft like an 8-iron but uses putting stroke.
In my opinion, the advantage is easier to use than PW,AW, SW. Because you are using putting strokes, you also have more confidence.

Disadvantage is you need one more slot... and some people think that it is not cool to use it...

1 of my frend used it before.
I loan it for use b4 as well.

At a pt of time, I really thought of getting it..
Really easy to use for short game..

But then the reason I wana buy is not bcos of short game, it's becos I hit very accurately as a replacement for 8iron.. (sounds wierd eh)
So Eventually did not buy... just practise more on short iron.. keke.

these chipper can be effective within 20 to 30yards.

Cleveland has one too. It could be a little cheaper than Callaway/ Odyseey

I think they call it niblick
