- Dear Bro / Sis,
It had finally happened .. 5 games in a roll .. I have been playing so bad that it is embarrassing even to mention the scores
All my golf buddies was in stock too ... only to encourage me by saying " It is okay, it the journey of golf ... you will better soon "
Did I change my swing ? I do not think I did. Did I practice ? oh yes, I am in the green doing chipping and putting every night for the passed 2 week. Did I practice my swing ? Oh yes, 2 times a week in driving range (arming at target in every shot without wasting any ball ) How I swing in the range? look okay to me .. but cannot really talk whether I hit flat in a driving mat though.
So what is wrong ? I do not know .. My driver and putting seems okay .. all my mid & long iron and approach shots is like a shotgun (all over the place) .. chipping ? I remember one of my golf buddy says today after I chipped " Hi, the pin is over the other side, bro !)
I know I should ask a pro to look at what had happened but with this post. I am hoping that you have an experience to share ... Is this a part of the golf journey that every golfer need to go through ??
This is how bad my mental block situation now : I have FEAR is looking at ball when I address.
HOW TO PLAY WHEN I AFRAID EVEN BY LOOKING AT THE BALL ??
dear shi-xiong, that is not making to SSN for the last few weeks, bad karma lah.... seriously, i suggest u take your wife out for some retail therapy, go buy some new golf apparels, buy her some LV bags etc etc... then go for nice soothing massage or spa, do your manicure n pedicure etc etc dun think abt golf so much for a couple of weeks.... sometimes when u play with the least expectation, u can feel the confidence coming back..... after i buy wife with new diamond, i become champion.... karma

| Hi bro(s), I have not been posting much in this thread since I am still struggling in my golf. However, I finally I win again on last Sunday tournament in Taman Dayu course. Although it is only a runner-up after for 6 months without winning anything when I was upgraded to division “A” now. I did not even played to my HCP on Sunday in Taman Dayu course, for having a fast green speed of 10 but I guess the rest of the better players were having a bad day in my local club. [img] [/img] | |

That is the best smile I can do in front of the camera. I think I smile better when I received the trophy from the club Chairman. I will post that, once I get it from the club to also show this is not an made up story. By the way, thanks for help on the putting stand. I have use the same stand for couple of round and it is now back to my normal stand. your tip help allot indeed.

Already very comfortable with the 60 deg LW, I bet, right? Hi bro Lee, Thanks, but do not know about looking younger .. but for sure your tip on " chip with feel " contribute allot for me to play more consistence. Also thanks for the gift of the 60 deg LW. Yes, using it now but only on fast green .. but still not good enough to control distant hit like 20 and 40 meters comparing to my usual 56 deg when able to cover distances from 15 to 70 meters ... I am sure i need more time to practice and train with the 60 deg to finalize those distance that I can hit with it.

Bro Slicer, Great to know that you are putting well. When we had our game, you were flashing that handsome smile while laughing so loudly that the whole course could hear you! Don't la be so shy in front of the camera. Flash that smile, you will definitely look 20 years younger!

Thanks Berna**, 5-5 ? that mean I need to played below 72 to win you. That is unfair, bro. When you are playing single now Btw, I only play okay in those courses in Surabaya, when I play in unfimilar course. I play like an beginner, man
