Dear all,

Greeting to all of you.

I just starting to play golf and would like to get an advice from all of you about iron set.

Which of below sets you think most fit to beginner?

Callaway RAZR X
Taylor Made Burner 2.0
Taylor Made R9

I am currently using Callaway Big Bertha 2006 and would like to upgrade my set.

Please advice.

Thanks in advance

Taylormade burner 2.0 will be good for beginner

Hi mrunix97.

welcome to GR.

Was in the same shoes as you 3 months ago.
I got a set of Game Improvement clubs, Callaway X-20, equal or better than Burner 2.0 in terms of launch. (see link below)
http://www.golfrepublic.org/t17272-wts-3-month-old-callaway-x-20-ng-whole-set-with-driver-n-putter

Review below:

part of the fun in the game of golf is in buying equipment and i've been sucked into it ever since. But as a beginner maybe you can explore second hand alternatives before committing large sums of money on clubs that may not suit you.

As the revered DGman once mentioned:
"when the buying stops...the road to training begins" haha.

Welcome again! .

Dennis

thanks for your advice.
Can you elaborate little bit why you suggest TM burner 2.0?

for your info, I've just play golf since 7 months ago and my average score between 95 to 105. At this moment, I am thinking to change my iron sets to another type. i was thinking to get something that a bit "blade type" that's why R9 become an option (couldn't get money to buy R11 instead, LOL)
