Anyone played golf in penang

Has anyone played golf in penang. Any courses to recommend. Also accomodation and transport, is it ez to get from hotel to golf course?

If Penang island, I've played Bukit Jambul, which is just next to Hotel Equatorial.. Quite funny to see a BJ shopping centre..

Mainland, Kristal is not bad, or can try Bukit Jawi which is more resort like and I think has accomodation...

i tried before the penang turf club.

that time when i was there, its a walking course. if im not wrong its a 18 hole course.and caddy required.

the course is reasonably okay if im not wrong, i was there few years back ( sorry if its too long. lol)

2) kristal, i heard was closed. but then recently heard new management.kristal isnt that good, the course like cowgrass kind .. not that nice.
