are you guys beginner friendly? I'm looking to try out my first 18 holes on Monday, but so far can't find any kaki so was thinking of joining your group

Ha ha just went for my first accupunture session. She did not say anything about refraining so if Monday got game , JUST PLAY LA hahahahh

This is my first time joining them also but I believe we are beginner friendly.
However, I know that Marina Bay Marshall is not so friendly towards slow play.

As long as you are open not to complete every single hole to speed up play, I think we will all be glad to have you.

I still remember my first 18 holes of golf. I do not even count my scores and I picked up my balls for few holes to keep up the pace. But it is still a pleasant memory.

Hi Elysium,

Suggest that if this is the first time on the green, then going to Malaysia on a weekday will be a much more pleasant experience. Can take time, take multiple shots, few people on course, if not, can just wave them on and continue after them, no real time limit ... etc

Marina Bay may not be the most beginner friendly course around ...

paiseh paiseh - i am defo most keen on the game. If i don't get LASIK done, the game definitely on. If I have to go under the laser, maybe by end of the same week can play (I hope!)

so if our GOH (guest of honor) cant play, we still playing?

Have just logged into MBGC site. Think Monday got no problem in booking as it is now still only 1 flight of 2 balls at 12.25 pm. Can wait for Ken to see what his doc says and keep our fingers cross.

2. Motiviational talk to clubs
3. Attire selection
4. Ball selection
5. Avoid all range and swing practise till game itself

Also, the weather have been pretty craps for the last few days..

Doc says eyesbhave no permanent damage but I need to wear sunglasses when playing golf. Phew. They put some eyes drops to dilate my pupils and now I am suer sensitive to light. Heading down to the den in an hour to drop off some gear

Spoke to RPA about the Rudy Project Exception Evo sunglasses, turns out they are out of stock and I have a special order coming in on Monday or Tuesday. Will still be bake to play on Monday since the sun doesn't seem that bad in Singapore due to overcast skies

Agreed with you KK. Weather has been crap this few days and am very afraid weather pattern has changed to raining late morning to early noon and beyond. So do we go ahead and book the flight?
