Maybe should change the word "today" to "to-date".

| I recently bot a range card at MBGC......sian liao.....no good shots left for the green....so need to get out the bad shots on range...to give space for good shots to accumulate | |

next planned acquisition ... Bushnell V2 yeah frogger brush damn shiok.....brush brush..everything gone. yeah get the Bushnell V2 good enuf, no need to pay extra for slope and the more expensive 1600 model (maybe longer range? but that is if you need more than 1000yds info??).

i have the V2...with regards to whether it drains really quick..i have no HARD FACTS to back it up. I use my rangefinder almost on every hole especially for my shots into the green and something to see how far the harzards are for my drives/ layups. As i have not kept track of exactly how many shots per battery, i cant comment. V2 is small, light and durable...it fits into my side or back pocket (without the pouch) easily thus i basically carry it all the time. i do not think the slope edition is required... anyway part of the fun of golf is to gauge how the slope, wind etc will affect your shot & club selection. with a rangefinder or gps, you save on the time looking for sprinkler heads or pacing off the distance marker.

| Hi Poker,
I just did a quick check on Bushnell site:
"A fresh battery should give you 5,000 distances before replacing. But we recommend you replace the battery once a year whether you feel it needs it or not. We recommend Eveready, Duracell, or similar quality batteries."
This statement was repeated for ALL models.
Only difference that i see is that V2 models uses the 3V lithium batteries whereas the other models use 9V battery.

| Eden and Poker: I have the Bushnell 1500 with slope and swear by it. Battery life from the 9V square battery is at least 20 rounds of golf. I can safely say that it's one of the essential items in my bag. | |
