| There is one tailor at Far East Shopping Centre on the third floor that does pants for golfers. 3 pairs for about $200, can't quite remember. Was quite popular a while back cos he had material in striking checks and pinstripes. Nice designs, but material quality not so sure. I think the golf shops there know about him too, so if you can't quite find him, just ask around. | |

| If you want C&G tailored golf pants, go to any of the tailor shops near JB, tell them your design need, they will recommend the right materials for you. Some of the better ones are Chino cotton, Spandex cotton (my choice), or any material similar to 3XDRY finishing. Cost is usually less than RM100 per pair, discounts for quantity can be negotiated. If you go to KL, try Spark Manshop, they are one of the best tailor chains in Malaysia. They used to have a branch in Plaza Pelangi but I am not sure if they are still there. | |

Ong at D'zendiq. I tailored all the loud pants and then chickened out to wear them on the course, because I have no golf game to back it up.. Material so-so, I chose thin ones cos not so hot to wear but I don't think they last.

Material so-so, I chose thin ones cos not so hot to wear but I don't think they last. Heard from someone who tailored there also that they don't last too long. But i was quite impressed with the cut of the pants, very flattering to those i saw wearing them. Some nice quieter patterns too among the louder checks. You very modest la. Think it was more a case of after tailoring, you remembered you are the SSquirel, so cannot draw attention to your hidden skills, must look nondescript. I'm sure they are kept handy for when you need a disguise, for isn't it so, that the best way not to be noticed is to hide out in the open, especially in loud checked/striped outfits? Let your enemies then discount you at their own peril.

| Actually I assumed any tailor should be able to do it? You just have to select the type of fabric you prefer and ensure the necessary pockets are there (for your gloves, scorecards, hanging towel etc) You can also tell the tailor that you meant to use it for golf, they will usually recommend to make the pants slightly more 'roomy' on the hips and knees area to ease the fabric tension during the swing. The bottom end of the pants is also recommend to use straight cut or slightly wider cut to help with the ventilation... | |

| Afternoon Everyone, Daniel from www.victoryork.com & www.Percygolf.com here.
A friend of mine who buys his tailor made Golfing Shorts and Trousers from me, suggested i joined the forum on "Any place to tailor golf pants", and pass on my knowledge and experience.
We have been producing high quality golf shorts and trousers for the past 6 years, and last year we launched a range of golfing attire to meet growing demands of our clients. If you visit the website you will find out more, but to give you a quick overview of prices, our Shorts/trousers range from between S$150 to S$700, all depends on the fabrics.
We have also created very fetching tartan skirts for the ladies, as well as the shorts.
Now a little info on dry-fit materials. Basically, dry-fit is posh word for "Plastic", which isn't a bad thing, as it does work very well for shirts, but when it comes to trousers, in my experienced opinion, they dont come close to natural wool and cotton combinations, as trouser fabrics are required to be thicker and heavier to be durable enough. What we have done for a few clients recently, was to put a strip of dry fit material on the inside of the trouser legs, to keep the legs cooler and we have had very good feedback from our clients so far.
If you wish to know more, email me on daniel@victoryork.sg or tele 96607470
btw, i'm an avid golfer who plays off 12, and i play all over Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand & Indonesia, and ever time i walk on the course, i will be complemented on my appearance and out-fit, always makes you smile before you hit that first tee-shot - catch you soon.
