Where to tailor golf pants?

Can anybody recommend tailor who does golf pants (something like those type that Ian poukter wear)?

seah im is that hawker centre connected to the bus interchange at harbourfront.

pa ka li is located at the mass of little shops at the furtherest end of the hawker centre away from sentosa.


I like the golf pants that I got from there before. only problem is that i am not paying as much to fitness as i did, so the shape that the pants was tailored for already went out of shape. so therefore it does not fit anymore...

I rarely go out of shape. My shape has been like this for the past 20 years (only increase in waist size a bit)!

eh...lets go together.....I never tried looking like a shining Beacon on golf course before......Jan 4th could be the first time

Oh, this sounds nice. What kind of material do they use? Dry fit type or? Hope price is not too steep tho...

You got my attention too. Would you know the shop name ? Can you pm me ? When you say they tailors for golf pants. I presume they have different golf pant design and material available to pick from ? Thx

I've tailored golf pants before. The trick is not finding the tailor, because there are many that can do the job. The hard part is finding the material that will do the job, and do it well.

With the availability of the Ian Poulter collection, Nike Golf, Adidas Golf, Atmosphere, Cross and other golf apparel readily available in your sizes and fit and offering plaid, checked and tartan designs, why would you wanna take the risk of using un-prewashed material to tailor your pants?

Most of the nicer pants from IP, JL and Cross etc are costing above $100. And sometimes cant really find the fit. Dunno if because they are more European sizes.

I have seen a couple of tailor shops and Far East and Peninsula Plaza. Anybody try them before for golf pants before?

Poresia recommended me to D'zendiq tailor at level 3 FESC
Tailor will ask u if u making for golf, he can recommend stretchable materials. Make make pants or Bermuda. 4 pairs for 200, up charge applies for more pricey fabric.

Vince Sport I believe also have a shop that do tailoring of golf pants. It is located at 2nd level of FESC. You can check with them if you are keen.

I guess the challenge is all these tailors may not have a wide range of golf pant fabrics that are suitable for golf/local climate for you to select from ... It is still better to purchase from JL, IP, Cross, Vermogen, Yonex, Nike, Adidas, Munsingwear, Callaway, Pearly, Le Coq Sportif, Perrygear, Mizuno, Shark by Greg Norman, Puma, etc. BTW, Perrygear is very cheap ... This is a house brand of Transview.

I guess most manufacturers do not expect male consumers to be so slender ...

The smallest size for male golf pants is 30 inches ... Perhaps you buy size 30 and get the tailor to alter it to your desirable waistline ...

I'm looking for 35 to 36 inch.
