Ping Owners Thread - Forgiving and Lasting

Iron eagle I'm looking to buy....$275 for a used set of 3 and 5wood stock shaft stiff. What's your opinion....is it alright?

Tried looking ard for used pricing....saw some at creative golf but I tot the pricing there wldnt be reflective of the market rate.....considering joe's a middleman...

Ping G15 3 & 5 wood is a little difficult to get, not much ppl wants to sell
cos they are mostly customise, and not mass market.

I would think $200-$250.00 would be reasonable price, also depend on condition.

i have the Ping G15 4wood, its one fantastic wood. because of my swing speed, i actually get more distance and find it easier to launch than the 3 wood.

use the same and loving it. Easy to lauch and not that much different in term of distance to the 3wd cousin.

Also to eiji, thank you for your feedback. You got me thinking of the 4wd now. Now that you mention it, i rarely see a 4wd from other makes except for ping...

more research to do.... thanks guys.

Read an article few months ago on the benefits of the 4 wd and tempted to give it a try but in the end still chose the more popular 3 & 5 wd combination after physco by the sale ppl... Bought the G20 and never regret ... It is very forgiving as compared with my previous woods and the shape is nice, wide and shallow ... The 3 wood is easy to launch too...
The stock TFC330 stiff shaft is not bad either... They are definitely worth the price tag ...

The feel of the G20 4W is really shiok. I am actually contemplating of letting go my Cleveland DST 3W and replace it with the G20 4W.

Yah ... I like the nice 'ping' sound on the G20...shiok... if u can launch further with the 4 wd , why not ? The 3 wd is actually quite high launching with the shaft alr, dunno about the 4wd

I tested the i20 driver on mitsubishi ilima. Low spin, mid launch, loud noise, good carry. Good dispersion. I like it!

Haven't tried i20 irons yet...bcoz I still have i15 at home

PS, so did you pull the trigger ???

I20 came out second to Razr Fit in trackman stats. Still waiting/looking or a used Razr fit at the right price. I20 brand new is pretty expensive.
