| i went to champions golf this week end. overall, i think its expensive 50 SGd i paid for what it is. the layout is fine. the holes can be too long for a complete beginner compared to Tanglin exec course. the maintenance is just ok, it depends of the area: - fairways: it is ok - tees : very bad ! no grass sometimes, uneven. they better put mat ! usually only two tees per hole. - rough: no real rough on the side, usually its fairway and then "jungle" - greens: i think the worse, no grass everywhere, quite super slow, bumpy (the ball does not roll). i guess its an executive course but still ! i guess at design the greens were qiute flat. -bunkers: nvr went in the overall area is nice. You can notice that there is construction goin, extending the number of holes i believe. i did not go for some practice at the range. its a good walk, lots of hill sometimes its missing real path to walk or "climnb", v good exercise no particuliar attack of insects =p u can find a lot of lost balls... which is a plus =p i went around noon, and it was not empty. Met some unpleasant golfer, one shout at us but apologize later the second one she was alone we told her to go and look at us like we were aliens... anyway the overall experience was ok v gd workout and the golf is still ok. they have to lessen the "jungle"-style rough because it can be a super hassle to find ur balls ! | |

| played at champions ysty. what a work out! ball eater if hit to the rough. kinda hard to find ball in cow grass. some construction going on for sure. tee box needs work. greens are bumpy and not much grass. but i see workers building new greens which looks nice. walking path from one hole to the next have rocks, like dirt road, etc - not exactly pleasant. still need a few months to come together. | |

| I prefer JCC exec.. fairways and greens are in good condition (much better than champions and tanglin), and the layout is pretty comfortable too ! | |

Ya, JCC quite a nice place as described but too bad it's only 5 holes. If it has a full 9hole, then it will be best Liao. Currently I will still endorse NSRCC EC as the best for value.

| Do you mean the executive course at NSRCC Changi?
Weekday rates: $20 (non-member) / $16 (SAFRA)
Weekend rates: I think its $37 / $26 (SAFRA)

| Hi all does anybody know if executive course at Changi is generally very crowded on week ends (especially Sat)? I usually go at JCC which is generally not too crowded, but I'm keen to try a different one! | |

| i went to nsrcc exec course once on a Saturday morning, tee'ed off first flight but there were many flights behind us (maybe 7-8 flights). by the time we finished at 8.15am, there was nobody at all at hole#1.
I guess, either be there for the 1st flight or go after 8am+. There is a crunch between 7-8am. not sure if this happens every saturday.

| My experience for NSRCC executive on sat, try to tee off before 9 preferably before 0830. Because 9 plus normally got a lot of people tend wait time longer. I tee off before wkdays around 1730 finished around 1830. | |
