| Do get some lesson to ground your fundamental right.
you can go for 2 person lesson with yuki, but no more than 2. The more people in 1 lesson = lesser attention per student, plus to arrange a time for all to be free might be an issue.

Also OFF TOPIC:
Today, I was at TPY.
There is a range staff there who is friendly and has good intentions I am sure, but gave me unsolicited advice about hitting straight and golf equipment options.
I dun mind but I was chatting with the cute F&B girl and taking a rest.
After he saw me hit a few to 180-190 metres and dead straight down the range, he started giving me advice about getting 'better' golf equipment. (I use 907/909 Titleist woods & Nike CCi irons and ProV1 golf balls.)
Then after he saw me whack a few balls within a three metre area at about 90 metres using my Nike CCi forged blade nine iron, he wandered away to 'bother' somebody else.
He kept asking me why I dun aim at the targets (and pay the extra money for the PlayGolf system). I said if I can hit straight at will, it's just a matter of determining average distances for each club.
No harm I suppose, but I wonder who trains people like him?
CK Hi CK, OCC Game booked for 6th April at 12.36pm (they have a tournament on that day and that is the last tee-off for pm flight). You, Fabian, Ethan and me. Bernard

| Okay, Blee2007. The others in the flight dun have to worry as my handicap has been going UP from 24 to as high as 29. I always get a few 'blow up' (disasterous) holes that negate any chance of a decent final score for 18 holes. CU. Thanks for booking. CK | |

| Hey HooterMan (Clarence Kim), Your slip is showing! First you said this about TPY, - clarencekim wrote:

So how come if you are driving dead straight and pitching to within a 3 metre radius, your handicap is 24? And climbing still into skirt territory, 29? You are a golfing anomaly!

That's an oxymoron, like army intelligence. He must be a range player only la.... once on the course and don't have the driving range bays to assist with auto alignment, cannot aim straight liao.. that's the only explanation I can come up with, cos he not buaya le, as far as I know. My wallet never kena raped by him before.

| Can always check the SGA handicap registrar Urself. Birdman is prolly correct, on an actual course, play is far more difficult. That's why I have been practising short-game skills. I dun care anymore whether I can hit to 250+ metres nowadays, cos up to 70% of golf is from under 120 metres (at least if you get close enuff with two or less strokes from tee-off depending on the holes' par ratings). And lag putting is crucial to low scores. Birdman has played with me last year on the Tampines course at Tanah Merah. Short-game mistakes (blading too far, chunking the grass on short pitches/chips, misjudging distances, etc) and a few double-par holes keep me from getting lower scores. But like most here on this forum, I always hope for some improvement eventually. CK | |
