One word of advice for those going for these offer, its definitely great but remember that these balls are not aas good, so dun expect them to fly like what they should. If you think otherwise, you might be trying to hit so hard that it might spoil yoru swing. just my 2 cents.

juz change ur training objective...
instead of distance, focus on direction and contact or whatever that is least affected by lousy balls...

That's what I do cause the different ranges have different balls and distance is not accurate. Best to focus on accuracy. Unfortunately, however, you'll want to find a good range if you're looking at fine-tuning your short irons and 100m and below pitches (and backspins) since ball quality is important here.

to do tat in range is quite hard also, most turf is not short enough like putting green so the effect will differ...

The kiss of death is something which choco has picked up and mastered. Let's run through the steps:

1. Examine par 4 layout.
2. Consider 350m distance.
3. Stand confidently.
4. Drive 250m (no need backspin on this one).
5. Pull out wedge.
6. Kiss wedge *** KISS OF DEATH ***
7. Waggle.
8. Pitch.
9. Watch as balls glides through the air, lands on the green 5 meters ahead and backspins into the hole.
10. Wake up.

I went ToaPayoh driving range once, $6 for a token for a bucket of balls.
Went upstairs but felt the the floor is not level, more like sloping down; did not like it.
Sometimes I go Bishan driving range because it's near my house, but the balls there are botak!!!

At times, especially night time, I will go Bishan cos Toa Payoh too crowded.
Dun like to use 2nd floor cos I practise chipping.

Last time not only balls botak but carpet also botak! Very Happy

MBGC is also getting really crowded these days. Best to get there before 6pm if you wanna play. Coming in at 7-8pm is like coming in at 5am... you'll wait a long while to play.
