Fake Scotty Putters?

Are there fakes SC putters? How can we tell the difference? Thanks

basically only get from people with good reviews esp on ebay.
helped a friend with his recent purchase of the 1st of 500 and the limited release "California" series. searched thru ebay and people were selling the putters before it was supposed to be official launched and these are guy that does not have high transactions/ feedback rating. Their low Rating could be due to the "niche" business nature but that is only my guess.
In the end, we reserved the 2 putters with a local SC dealer that we know and trust.

generally, if its too good to be true then it is too good to be true.

Buying online and overseas only make sense (to me) if the amount is what i can afford being ripped off or something that i cant find locally.

if you are unsure, please bring your putter to the Den and i can help you identify the putters.

unlike superclass A panerai or rolex, its easy to tell a fake from the real mccoy.

Thats why we insist on real photos and not ebay ones in the mktplc forum. even so, we might miss out one or 2 threads.

We will be insisting if we happen to find something not right. Members can help out too by mentioning to buyer if the mods missed certain threads out.

On the buyer's part, You can and should request more fotos of the item like grip and face to determine its authenticity.
