what influence/s smash factor when hitting a driver?

- hitting on the sweet spot?
- club head speed?
- ball compression/material?
- angle of attack? or hitting up on the ball i/o hitting down?

Biggest influence of better smash factor is

Technique (Tempo)

if both golfers with the same competence and smash factor, then what seperate them is.......

Confidence

now where does the confidence comes from......

Equipment and/or Training

Appropriate tools of the trade and/or continuos training...

i am sure you can decide which one.

DGman

further analysis of the following:

- hitting on the sweet spot - Technique
- club head speed - fitness training or a different weight driver, not necessary lighter
- ball compression/material - softer or harder balls and balls that generate higher spin or lower spin.
- angle of attack? or hitting up on the ball - this will increase or decrease launch angle and will help to increase or decrease spin rate to optimise carry and total distance.

none of the above are influence for better smash factor.
