Review on Impian Emas golf course

Been there once, quite nice and challenging 9 hole course. 

Steer away from drainage hole as the ground around it might sink... yes... saw a buggy sank... the flight before mine...

Have problem with finding ball drop on fairway and missing too but had that with other course too.

Played at Impian first time on Friday this place is easy to find just off the old highway. And surprisingly the greens are excellent condition. Fairways are cow grass and pretty good quality ie not soggy and rough is reasonable did not lost balls. Bunkers were not raked and harder to play. Overall pleased with course design and the hilly layout with several water holes is pretty challenging not easy for beginners. Did not get lost between holes although need time to find the signage.

Agreed that clubhouse is below average and non-aircon especially toilets is small cubicle but decent clean and good water. The reception is good, friendly and cool aircon. F&B is reasonable prized serving Malay meals we did not try it seem appetisizing.

Four of us each paid rm$50 under Cimb. Considering the facilities at clubhouse, I must say it is about 20% higher costs compared to better full sized clubs in JB. Don't you agree?

According to reception, for visitors can rent trolley and 9 hole costs rm$29 this is pretty good value for beginners and seasoned golfers to play and practice the game. As course is quite hilly, better to rent buggy and for 2x9 holes costs is rm$80 for weekdays.

Its a Ronald Fream designed golf course...aka West Ponderosa course.

Understand there is an ongoing weekday unlimited golf promotion..
