Anyone use/tried this shaft before? Any feedback on the feel & if fitted - please advise with what driver head, loft, length & any tipping? Thanks.

If you're looking for the Motore series, go for the Speeder.. Compare to F1, much more stable and smooth. But the flex is slightly softer..

Personal feeling, I'll describe the F1 as Cha Cha (in Hokkien).. Hehehe..

Tried the OEM one on the TM r9 both stiff and regular, didn't like it much. Maybe coz of the head also.

Tried original aftermarket one on my friend's TM r7 limited head, loved it so much i ordered one for myself.

Installed on my Titleist 909Dcomp, still liked the shaft, but then sold the driver with the shaft coz fickle minded.

Now i wish i still had that shaft to put in my current driver..

Beware of the flex ratings though, i ordered a stiff, and after installing, butt trimmed to 45inches and no tipping, it was 269CPM. That's more like X-stiff.. so i suggest you buy one flex softer, at least can tip to your desired stiffness, rather than have it too stiff then you can't do anything about it.

guys, consider this:

I take an R-flex shaft and stick it on a super lightweight head
I take the same R-flex shaft and stick it on a super heavy head

same swing, at 85 mph

Is there a difference in how the shaft reacts? Yes, there is. Which shaft would flex more on the downswing? Why? Would that affect the head speed? Would that affect the head stability on the downswing?

It is very hard to prescribe what works and what does not without some means of accurately measuring changes (remember how control experiments work in science lab classes back in school?).

One shaft may work well with a particular head or swing, and may be a less-than-ideal choice for another head. This is why, as much as I like my Diamana Ali'Islei, it's currently not well suited for my TM tour-head (which is heavier than the average driver head by 10g), despite all the positive reviews I have seen about it.

I think the hottest shaft in the market still today is the fujikura shafts. But be aware that it will not increase your club head speed. Only good mechanics and proper exercise will increase club head speed.

Some people would argue that Mitsubishi rayon are hitter etc

some shafts work better for some people than others, depends on variables like you said. FujikurA is popular but I am not sure if popular = better, especially what the tour players are using are not necessarily the same retail shafts that we find at the typical fitter...

I have this club with the Fujikura stiff shaft. When I am swinging right I can hit my drives solid and well over 300 yds. My longest with this club has been 355 yds!! This is a excellant shaft that produces good distance with this club. I have the 3 - wood as well and it's just as good, averaging 260-275 yds.

I swing at about 100 normally. 105-108 if I lay into it. Might be higher nowadays because as I've been getting into shape I'm swinging faster and faster. Lately I'm resorting to just using my arms (cutting my speed down to the 90's) because for some reason when I try to use the rest of my body I end up with a snap hook. If I can't fix it...well, that's next year's problem.

tokmik from US i believe, 300+ is in yards and their fairways promotes a lot of roll.
