| Would someone be kind to list down the address of the abovementioned club fitters?
Google still cannot find leh, except for BFG of course.
Maybe even a sticky post would really help newbies like me who is very new to the golf scene.

| One thing is he's very open and critical about things he doesn't like or see. Many will not find this acceptable as we are all typically of an Asian background and tend to keep things to ourselves more often. Because of this, he has offended quite a few people before. (I am not one of them though.)
Same as my venerable senior ang mo coach. But he won over 60 PGA and Asia-based Tour titles in his younger days. Even played against Gary Player, Jack Niklaus, Arnold Palmer before and was good friends with Peter Thomson (Australian golf legend). I think he even was the person who was asked to start the SPGA back in the early 1960s.
Some peeps (and younger Singapore pro golfers) dun like him cos he is rather opinionated, but if you are patient, students of his will learn a lifetime of golf experiences--amateur, long-time golf coaching and teaching and being previously a touring pro.
I think Mitch Slovich who just turned pro and plays with/against Justin Han is his prize student currently.
I am also a Titleist & SC (or Ping Anser) golfer, except my for my Nike CCi forged irons. But thye sh*tty way I have been playing, I may go back to my graphite-shafted Mactec NV clubs.
My coach says breaking 100 (or 90 or 80 or even 70) is a matter of positive attitude, proper practice and a willingness to learn new golf skills--always.

| I dont know much about club fitting... ... but as a layman, we all don't wanna get ripped off. Those of you who own cars will know the feeling....walking into a workshop to do a normal servicing 1hr later the mechanic calls you....eh your timing belt need to change 1.5hrs later.......another call.....eh you brake pads no more already, need to change 2hrs later.....another call.....wah lan eh your alternator got some funny sound, need to change also etc etc etc you get my drift? Same when we walk into a club fitting shop....we dont want a guy who is more a salesman than a fitter.....also pushing you to change the latest shaft, latest grip and saying that he has all the different tongkat ali for all your problems. I was at a club fitter recently. I have been going there for some time already. Each time I go there, I was convinced that its the farking club that has the problem. However, each time the club fitter says that its the golfer that has the problem and refused to do my business. Then I go training in the driving range and take some cha pa lang lessons.....feel that I am damn good already, almost like tiger woods.....I go into the fitter again and am convinced that my farking clubs are the problem......again I kana rejected and the fitter refused to do my business. Now what do you call that........FIRST CLASS SERVICE I TELL YOU......this guy shld be recommended for the singapore tourism tourist class award. This is a club fitter who rather not make your money and I am grateful for that. So to PIT who is looking for a reputable guy, you cant beat a reputation like BFG....just walk in there with a peace of mind. BTW, I am not related to BFG or have any commission selling their koh yoke (chinese street medicine). I am just an independent guy with a 180m drive | |

| You must buy more kopi-c sui dai when you pay your respects the the Den-Master. You must also tell him how cool his scotty collection is. And if you are smoking as well, it is essential that you offer him a stick or at least jio him for a psi-checking session.
Only then he may consider to sms you when stocks comes in.
Alternatively, go everyday and hope you do not burn a hole in your pocket by the time the stock comes, or not no money left for grips.
then again, maybe by the time the grips come, you already got a hole in your wallet from the countless kopi-c sui dai(s) and cannot afford grips anymore.
Sigh. Life with BFG is so sad.

| i have not been to WizGolf but i know at least one of the owners.
good bunch of guys who are technically sound and have the right set-up. Singapore need more passionate club-fitters like them.
Good luck WizGolf!

who sez. heh I now kena Vit K(ajiki) poisoning. I have 4 R510 TPs that i brought to game and to test at the range today. the only one I was able to nuke consistently was the one with the K-70S. The others with the Speeder 553 (X), Speeder 757 (S) and the Aldila NV 75-S all either not as stable or not as far. Closest by a distant 2nd place was the ion-plated Speeder 757, a TP shaft Been to many shops so far, and BFG is by far the one I would entrust my game and kit to
