Very nice mate.

Just giving you a warning on your 3 x black finish. That baby will be scratched up pretty good on the sole since most greens in Singapore are usually sandy....very sandy.

@S7...Thanks for the heads up...I am guessing the greens are like in FLA, with a heavy sand base. That is ok. That putter is sort of my trophy from the tourny. I actually putt better with my Rife or TM as they are fit more to my current stroke. But something about that Scotty...everytime I see it I want to throw it back in the bag and force it back into the rotation.....

I love SCs too but they dun seem to work as well here hahaha.

Also, I played quite a bit in South Florida as I lived in a rental @ PGA National a good 8mth last year. The greens everywhere were wayyyyyy better.

Abacoa was my fav in terms of green speed and roll. They just do it right.

Sorry for the short thread jack...but I used to work at PGA National for nearly 8 years. I am also well aware of Abacoa...Great track and in great shape most all the time.

SC's seem to be a good fast green putter...unless you use one of the heavier heads or mallet types, at least in my experience anyhow. I used many Scotty's down in FLA and I think it is just finding the right one for the type of greens you usually play.

Well, my most ex SC is only the IBDD where I got it staying there.

DGman has a pretty good collection if you ever head over to Big Fish Golf.

OT: Recognise the background? Its the 18th on the Haig.

Love the IBDD....One of the best Scotty's out there for the $ IMO.

18 at the Haig....classic. Had some great moments and not so great moments on that hole...

err..IBDD, IBDL, IBBF and IBSG.

i think i have all four heavenly kings (local slang). and the IB covers too. NHAB.

my 1st Scotty putter

After joining this forum a few days ago, this thread got me reading and today buay tahan went to Greenfield and got a Scotty Newport 2.5 after trying a few, really feels good, now hope it works ok for my game tomorrow

A friend lent me his mil-spec pro platinum and I am putting very well with this. The 340g weight is definitely a plus. It makes finding the stroke a lot more easier.

Just a question: What does: F S U mean?

F - Flat lie
S - Standard
U - Upright

so does that mean that S70B's Putter Lie angle is Standard, because the "S" is not painted?
