| Hi. I take off my watch like most people when playing golf. But find it a hassle to take out watch to check for time once in a while. Thinking of getting a cheapo watch to hang onto golf bag or one of those golf watches that hangs to belt/pant. Any suggestion? Wonder what the rest of you do? | |

| I have an old Seiko Divers watch that I use for golf. Personally experienced several watch failures due to shock damaging the movement of 2 of my Omegas, and decided that it would be cheaper to get something more 'disposable' -- a Casio digital watch or a cheap G-shock would probably do as well... | |

| I have a simple Timex velcro-strap watch which I wear when I play golf. It's light and effective. | |

| I hang one of those pocket watch on my golf bag. Anyway digital watches, those chapalangs, are so cheap, cost about $4 - $5.00 depends where you bought from, you can afford to buy a few of them at one go. For your info, they last as long as originals. In fact until their battery flat and I threw them away as getting new batteries is just as expensive as getting anothe new one. A good place to buy from is Ghim Moh Food Market. From Tuesday to Sunday you can see peddlers setting up stores from about 9 am to about 1 pm . My 2 cents worth.

1. Watch design in the form of a golf shoe, found along side stall outside OG at Sim Lim Square, $5 one ( or it is $10 ? can't remember but it is cheap )
2. Big face, hanging watch, many design, with cover or without, found at shop near beside KFC Toa payoh, near the road. $ 10 to $12.

| Hello,
There are plenty of watches for sale at HDB heartland. Each costs a couple of bucks only. Alternatively, we can use last year's lucky draw shower clock. Hang in on the golf bag, big and easy to read + waterproof.

| Either way... you can always hang a watch on your belt or you can always use your handphone or just leave a watch in the buggy...
How often would you look at the time when ur playing anyways?
