Scotty putter weight adjustment

hi,
Is there an official Scotty Cameron putter fitter to adjust the weight. I need to change to a heavier weight. I wouldn't want to paste a lead on it as it will spoil the look and may not be correct. Thanks so much

Hi,

At this time the only option for changing weights on your putter is sending it back through the Scotty Cameron website. We are looking at options on this and making many of Scotty's custom shop services easier to do and more affordable on shipping costs to his loyal fans in this part of the world. There are several threads already on this within the forum and it is high on our list of priorities to address.

The weight ports were designed for performance and to allow us to offer a great variety of custom options when ordering a Cameron putter. Any after market changes to weights was never the original intention and if done by people not in the know could do more damage then good to a consumers putting stroke. So therefore if we are able to offer this service one day we want to ensure its in a way that it is done well for all Cameron fans.

Thanks for your interest and support of Cameron putters. I will provide an update on this as soon as possible.

Any development on the head weight adjustment front? Can I get my Scotty 15gm factory head weights replaced with 25 or 30gm ones in Singapore?

We are expecting delivery of some weight in early June and when we do we will advise on how you can look to have weights changed. At this time we will offering 15g and 20g options only. So in your case you can move to 20g weights which will take your putter up 5 swingweight points and into the D7-D9 range.

hi all, i have seen weights being put up for sale in ebay & some of them are from china. they even sell the wrench too. are these weights/wrench from china real or any good, appreciate comments. thx

Yes, the weighs are available from Golf Simply or Henry @ FESC 2nd Level ... They are selling $50 per pair ... You can get them half the price from eBay (includes the wrench & shipment cost) ... I bought mine (2 x 20g) from eBay ...

All aftermarket ones. Even if you get them from Acushnet, they also get their OEM manufacturers from China to produce. Acushnet does not produce weighs, shafts and grips.
