| Hardrock, better in what sense? Distance, feel, forgiving, launch? No doubt that it has more flexibility section where it has rotating features on the club head positions and weights. | |

Yeah, aside from the flexibility, I'm more keen to know whether the club performs better in terms of distance and forgiveness.

| Sounds good, but can't quite decide right now. Still tempted to get the Ping Rapture V2. But I appreciate the feedback on the R9 Cheers! | |

| Anyway, while we're on this topic... anyone got a R9 which they want to sell cheap? Head only... shaft not essential. | |

The R9 max or 460 is out already, so i guess the 420 R9 will be cheaper now .... wait a little longer and it'll be much much cheaper..

| My Boss plays with the 9.5 * Tour Burner with the stock shaft and he swears by it.. so it individual , i guess.. so you'll have to test it out and see if its for you... | |

| From what I've read, the Tour Burner comes with a longer stock shaft so distance-wise, it seems to do better than the R9. My concern with the R9 is that it's pricey because of features (i.e. the flexibility) which I may not necessarily utilize. | |

Thats true.... i leave my R9 setting at 'N' and hardly move it... DGman also advised me to leave it there at 'N' ... so the extra price we pay is for when we are itchy backside and go and change here, change there and finally back to 'N'..
