| How do u plan ur course management?
1. Do u use driver for every par 4 or 5?
I will check the distance b4 deciding on which club to use. Those short Par4, I will try to use a 3w or 5w to leave myself under 130m rather than short with under 70m to pin which I always have a challenge to find a club to find the pin.
2. What is the preferred distance u lay-up for ur approach?
I usually try to lay-up from 90-120m which I have the most confidence. Anything under 80m alway poses abit of challenge to hit a full swing shot.
3. Which is ur most preferred & confident club to lay-up?
I prefer to use my PW (90-110m) on a full swing. Sometimes when my iron play is Super, I will use my 52* for those ard 100m. But usually they are up & down.
Please share ur course management planning so that those trying to play better score can learn from the sharing.

| Don't go for hero shots
If tee shot is out of position, chip ball back into play
Play away from hazards, eg flag is tucked next to water hazard, aim away, just centre of green is fine
Front pin position in front on a green sloping back to front, I'll select a club such that I won't go long to avoid a tricky downhill putt

| Re-post; Been advised and helps in my game; If you had a bad drive or bad approach or something that is not working on certain holes; just take the medicine and aim to walk away with a bogey or worse dB.. Don't try too hard, this is sure a hole killer approach.. Short game just make sure you see the hole as big as a five 5-8 footer and this will make it so much life easy to hole it next stroke... This may also helps to speed up play P.S: golf an ego game so sometimes just wanna... | |

| Hole 18, Johor GCC is one such hole. You would not want to be too far above the pin...it's a tricky and frightfully fast downhill putt...so easy to putt out off the green coming down. | |
