Hi Mate,

Just to survey and feel how to golf more in Singapore.

1. How many total Golf Course in Singapore?
2. What the average expense per game in Singapore (Non-Gambling)
    - Weekday
    - Weekend
3. Singaporean frequent as weekly out to JB / Batam / Bintang for game?
4. Any regular Weekday or Weekend Group to recommend?

I am curious if u already know how to gamble during golf, just join flights for $80plus at marina bay golf.

It all depends on how often you intend to or can play!

Joining a club - say at $30K with monthly subscription of $100-150 makes sense if you play at least once a week @ $25 for buggy. Free if you walk. For members, no green fee for weekday or weekend!

Monthly Sub = $100
4 Games/week = $25 x4 = $100

Cost per game is $100+$100 divide by 4 = $50/=

Amortize $30K (actually only need to amortize the transfer fee as you get some $$ back when you sell) over 10 years = $3K per year or $250 per month or $60+ per game = $110 per game!!

Plus you get to sign in guests locally, other facilities like dining, swimming pool, gym, bowling, etc. Of course if you have a spouse or kid that plays - the average cost even lower! Depending on your schedule you can even get in 9 holes before or after work. Most clubs allow 6.30 tee off or 4.30pm for 9 holes!

You also get an official handicap.

The drawback is you play the same course(s) every week!

OCC offering term membership at $10k per annum ... I heard no monthly subscription fee.
