| May be one of the oldest tricks in the book, but damn Paul, works everytime. Make you look closer at the screen, then...... This bird darn laid some eggs... and I'm MALE!!!!  Incidentally, I did go snorkelling in Shark Bay at Sea World. Tiger sharks on the other side of a thick glass screen. One was up close to the plate glass, so I swam in as close as I dared, couldn't get much closer than 3 or so meters no matter how much I tried, my mind wouldn't let my body get any nearer. It turned and stared straight at me, I stared back, but didn't last more than a couple of seconds. Too chilling!!!! I would have jumped out of my wetsuit if it had rushed the plate glass. During the short staredown, couldn't help wondering what the shark saw me as. Dinner? Or just another damned tourist... Damned unnerving experience.... | |
