| heard and seen thats its pretty good - results wise!
Spin rate is apparently pretty low to give a piercing and penetrating ball flight with good roll -and the loft is also apparently true loft. my friends using an 11.5 degree driver but he hits it pretty superbly.
Personal opinion? Looks horrible.

| Driver - Seen it at BFG, agree that it looks horrible. Havent tried it tho to comment. Here's some of the slight outdated review that I found from Google.

I am using Nakashima irons, NX1 - steel with DG SL 300R shafts had them for close to 6-8 months now. I like it a lot. Surprisingly forgiving. Easy to work the ball left right and center. It also gives good feedback on where your hit the ball. The Prototype irons from BFG is made from the same plant, but has much softer feel which I would like even more.

| Alamak.. why horrible?? OK wat.. I used a NP-1 (9.5* 380cc) I think it's a decent performer; distance is ok, maybe not as forgiving.
Thinking back, I think I bought this off slinger a long time back.
Anyway, this is just sitting among the several extra old driver heads at home. Let me know if anyone wants it.

| SS,
Does the driver play like the 905R? The design is kinda like the 905R Titanium.

| KK..alamak.. if I had seen your post earlier, I would have brought down the driver head for you just now. My NP-1 is a smaller 380 cc head than the 905R. I can't compare against the 905R because I've never really played the 905R I liked the driver because of it's traditional pear shape. It was shafted with an Accuflex Assasin; ball flight was nice, boring. The club is pretty workable and I like the sound. I gamed this for quite a while until it got knocked out by a FT-3 tour which is also no longer in the bag. | |

Make from the same plant doesn't means you get the same treatment if you were to own a set of prototype irons. So what you waiting for, get a set of prototype lah. hehehe....

| Since your prediction is Proto, then you should get a proto now and prove on the match that is a good decision. | |

| Hi everyone, I am using Nakashima as well. I rate the driver.. They do have lesser spin rate and goes a long way The irons have a good feel to it but its not as forgiving for begginers. Good thing abt Nakashima is that u have to get it custom fit , which can be done at Mark Higgs at Ubi or Keppel also have. I think the head itself cost about $500 and then the shaft is another price. Its definately worth it if u ask me | |

Anyone knows the price range for a Nakashima? Hey i didn't know BFG also do Nakashima. we used to sell Nakashima long before Mr Higgs. for our driver fitting, we are still using the nakashima driver with interchangable shaft. we also quite a few spare irons from our early days of fitting. currently we have a couple of drivers and fw which are left behind by our customers to sell. however they are pretty stiff and if the golfers' club head speed is below 105, it will not be suitable.
